"Little India" is an ethnic enclave containing a large population of Indian people doing businesses. It is located at Jalan Masjid India, Kuala Lumpur. This is one of the oldest parts of the city, Jalan Masjid India is the original shopping haven that has dated back over a century ago. Its name is derived from a mosque built in 1870 for the Indian Muslim population settling there at the times when tin-mining was booming. Little India is situated at the heart of a thriving neighbourhood built up around the district’s mosque. This street is famous among locals as well as foreigners for shopping, food and discovering the real Malaysia. Jalan Masjid India is a shopping paradise for locals and foreigners alike and it is well known for both wholesale and retail shopping.

Jalan Petaling, Kuala Lumpur

Petaling Street / Jalan Petaling, is a Chinatown located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is infamous for pirated clothes and accessories along with bootleg DVDs and CDs. Petaling Street however does not exclusively offer pirated products. Haggling is a common sight here and the place is usually crowded with locals as well as tourists.

The area has dozens of restaurants and food stalls, serving local favourites such as Hokkien mee, ikan bakar (barbecued fish), asam laksa and curry noodles. Traders here are mainly Chinese but there are also Indian, Malay, and Bangladeshi traders.

Jalan Istana, Kuala Lumpur

The Istana Negara along Jalan Istana was the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (Supreme King) of Malaysia. It stands on a 13 acre (50,000 m²) site, located at a commanding position on the slope of a hill of Bukit Petaling overlooking the Klang River, along Jalan Syed Putra.

It was replaced by a new palace as the official residence of the King in 2011. On 2013 it was converted into Royal Museum.
